Garageband Ipad Loop Browser
Find loops using filters. Tap Sound Pack, then select one or more sound packs. Tap Type, then select Audio Loops, MIDI Loops, or Drummer Loops. Tap Scale, then tap a scale mode. Tap Apple Loops in the upper-left corner to view the filtered results in the Loop Browser. IPad further exploits the full functionality of GarageBand by extending the intuitiveness with its overtly simple but responsive touch screen gestures. Use Apple Loops and audio files with Live Loops in GarageBand for iPad. In addition to recording, you can add Apple Loops and audio files to cells in an Audio Recorder or Amp row of the grid, or to an empty row. If your song has an empty grid, and has regions in Tracks view, you can import all of the regions from Tracks view to the Live Loops grid. This column is a filter for all the loops. You can click on the buttons to filter the loops out that you want. In this case 'Urban Bass' loops which show up on the right side of the panel. In this column you can see if a loop is a midi track or an actual recording. Add Apple Loops in GarageBand for iPad. GarageBand includes a set of Apple Loops you can use to easily add drum beats, bass lines, rhythm parts, and other sounds to a song. Loops contain musical patterns that can be seamlessly repeated over and over. You can extend a loop to fill any amount of time.

If like me you’ve all but exhausted the existing loops that come pre packaged with Garageband through hours of experimentation and recording, adding new sounds is definitely something you’ll want to do.
Do note, though, that this app doesn't let you create music, mix songs, or anything like that.
